Dublin's Fair City.

My boyfriend and I took ourselves down the road to the city of Molly Malone and Guinness - Dublin.
He was excited about a Guinness tasting session in alllll the pubs, I was interested in Forever 21, American Apparel and Queen of Tarts, and we were both interested in Eddie Rockets $5 dollar shakes and amazing burgers.

We stayed in a middle of the road hotel called The North Star, however, on checking in we got upgraded to an executive suite! This sort of luck never crosses our paths, so I was super excited.
After checking out our lovely room, we lost ourselves in the city. We went shopping, ate, drank and tapped our toes to the many jigs being played in many pubs.

Here are some photos from our whirlwind mini trip...
We love Baile Átha Cliath !!

We're still so sad that holidays are over, and the hurricane weather we are having here is making me even more depressed. The weather for shorts and dresses without tights is well and truely over. Bring on jeans, woolly jumpers, thick tights and winter warmer coats.

Have you switched over to your Autumn wardrobe yet, or are you lucky enough to be enjoying an Indian Summer?

Holiday Blues.

Gloomy. That's exactly how I feel.
I am so sad my holidays are over and I've landed back to reality with a huge bump.
But I did have the best time away. And that little sneaky trip to Dublin after Lanzarote was a lovely wee treat to beat the holiday blues.

When on holiday, I love having the freedom to wear whatever you want, and however you want. I try to still pull an outfit together on holiday, but comfort reins overall.
When I'm at home, I am blinkered by both high street and designer fashion, but when I am on holiday I feel much more in tune with myself, and I find my true style, which I feel I lose slightly being constantly overwhelmed with Topshop, River Island and ASOS.

It just goes to show, you don't have to follow trends to be "in vogue". Just wear what makes your feel confident, individuality is true style.
